“As to our methodology, once the design package, which itself is based on the client’s brief, is done and our procurement list is up, we carefully select every single constituent material, in coordination with the individual craftsmen. We inspect it for defects, consistency, specifications, suitability and final finished effect. Considering I often have various materials in one element, such as metal, wood, glass, marble and fabric, coordination is tedious, critical, and does not end till the product is finished. If we discover a hitch, we start over. Usually though, that process is smooth-flowing as everyone in my operation knows and enjoys their job.”
